Subject: Thank you!

 Hello Claude and Violaine:

We got back on Sunday from our amazing trip and I just wanted to drop a line and thank you for being such a big part of it. The studio was perfect! We loved being so close to everything! We walked everywhere, I'm glad I didn't get the week long Metro pass! It would have been a whole different experience if we would have stayed in a hotel. We felt like it was "our Paris" and "our studio" will live in our memories forever. Did you know that #22 Rue St Severin is on Rick Steve's Historic Walking Tour in his Mona Winks tour book?! It says that it is the narrowest apartment in Paris! We couldn't figure out why people kept taking pictures of our window and then when I was going over his Louvre tour in my book, I saw that #22 Rue St Severin is actually a viewing point on his guided walk! I felt like a celebrity! Gabe had to pull me away from posing in the window ;) Thank you again for guiding me through your rental process. You have been more than a pleasure to interact with and you will be the first I tell when we are thinking of visiting Paris again.

Your friend,
 Maya Glah

Hi Claude & Violaine, I hope this e-mail finds you well. I had an absolute wonderful time in Paris and made a few new friends. Your Montmartre studio worked out very nicely. I loved it so much that I wanted to contribute to the household. I bought a flowers, a dish drainer for the dishes, little soap dish and water glass for the bathroom and left the studio very tidy. Nadine was charming and took me to the local market. I want to thank you for allowing me to stay there and I do want to return to Paris; please I am hopeful I will be able to rent again from you. Please take care and I wish you well.

Ann

Subject: RE: Welcoming you back...

Hi Claude!
The first thing I want to tell you is that this was one of the best vacations I've ever had, the realization of a childhood dream.  The ability to finally touch the stone of Notre Dame, to smell the lilac in Jardin du Luxembourg, or Place des Vosges, the impact of the centuries of history and culture, and the youthful lightness exuding from the people will definitely be cheerily remembered.

The accommodations were also remarkable; being located in the heart of Paris is an unbelievable experience, and I will recommend it to all my friends.  The apartment on Rue St. Severin was indeed small (as you've warned us) but we found it more than adequate for our needs.  The aero bed you bought for us (and I can't thank you enough for that) was perfect, too.  Janko and Maria were very helpful (we had a problem with a burnt fuse and Janko was able to assist and solve the problem within an hour).

I'll close with a heartfelt thank you, and the hope that we can keep in touch and continue our relationship.

All the best,
Cosmin

Thank you so much for the hospitality. We had a great trip, and we enjoyed the studio very much.  It was amazing to be steps from the Seine and Notre Dame.  The weather was perfect--sunny and warm.  And the people of Paris were kind and welcoming.

Hello Claude and Violaine,

I spent my first night in Paris on the 5th floor of a Hotel in rue de Rivoli, heart attack stuff for those not used to such heights or garret rooms! Did a wonderful take on the 'romance' of Paris and survived the night. Your studio at the St Severin turned out to be palatial in comparison, and one only had to climb to the 2nd floor. That was cause for great celebration I can assure you. We loved your space…..

Keep well until we meet, don't know when, don't know where!!!!! Just know it will be....
the happy Paris visitor,
Vihra

Hello Claude and Violaine

The apartment was wonderful.  We really liked being so central to everything.  We walked nearly everywhere, but found the metro convenient too.  It was also nice to have so many food options right out the front door.  Our friends have asked about the apartment and we have recommended it highly. The trip was fabulous and full of fond memories.  Maria and Janco were exceptional hosts!  Please tell them thank you again for us.  Of course, we also appreciated your concern for our well-being and your hospitality.

Merci,
Elizabeth and Lindsay

Cher Claude et Violaine,
I shall use the last five minutes on this internet cafe computer to tell you how wonderful it is to live at 22 Rue St. Severin, #2! All has gone wonderfully well here.  First meeting a cabdriver who< had lived in the States and called Maria on his cell.  The first time I heard the bells of St. Severin! I have found nothing but kindness here.  The visual beauty of the surrounding Paris is astounding. THANK YOU!!!

Linda

Subject: I had a lovely time in Paris!

Dear Claude and Violaine,

I'm back home in Mendocino and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my visit to Paris. It was so nice to get to the apartment after a long flight and to meet Marija and Janko, who helped me upon arrival. I enjoyed climbing the wonderfully worn stairs to the apartment every day and knowing I was sleeping in a part of history. The central location proved to be a great help in getting around on foot and on the Metro I had a wonderful time and want to thank you both deeply for allowing me to stay at your apartment. It was just what I needed to heal my heart and rejuvenate my spirit! I cannot thank you enough. I enjoyed my visit so much that I have decided to attend the Sorbonne for the upcoming summer session in June! If you both know of a "student priced"  rental for the months of June, July and August please let me know.

Thank you again,
Nancy

Subject: Ahhhh...Paris Dearest Claude and Violaine,
We had the trip of a lifetime and we owe it all to you and your generous offer for the Montmartre studio.  The studio was indeed charming and Nadine was is such a sweet lady.  She was very helpful and took very good care of us.  We had no trouble at all getting around the city and we found the Paris people to be charming and helpful.  We were careful to blend in, speak the language, and be aware of our surroundings...and we had absolutely no problems.  We are still in awe of the beauty of the city.  Being there for 9 days, we really got a chance to do it all. We have decided that the food in Paris is a marvel...even when it is "bad"...it is good.  We had so many wonderful dining experiences, including one magical night at a cafe in Place du Tetre, with a view of the magnificent Sacre Couer by night....what an incredible sight There is so much to tell...I could write a book filled with all of the precious moments!  But I want to thank you again for your hospitality which made this all possible for us.  We have decided that we definitely need to return...perhaps next time to stay in the St. Severin!  Please give our best to Nadine and thank her again for everything.  Until next time...

Friends of the House,
Patrick and Katherine Kutac

Hello Claude and Violaine,

just a short note to let you know that we had a marvelous time in Paris! Thank you for your patience again, I'm so glad it worked out. We were so central and I do like that. I hope to put some more business your way in the next year or so. I'd run back tomorrow myself! I do hope to do some more work in the Paris Herbarium...!

Hope all is ok in New York, it's not an easy time. Let's hope that Spring brings some warmth to the western world! The last two days I had in Paris were glorious! What memories!!! We are saving to call you back….

Take care and hope to get in touch either on my own or someone else's behalf
again.

Salut,
Maria

Hello dearest!
We had a marvelous time in Paris and loved the St Severin studio. The studio gave us closeness to important sites in Paris and made our stay more real and Parisian-like.

Thank you very much for letting us stay there. Keep a space for us next year….

Cordially yours
Stein and Camilla

Claude / Carlos

A very good and close friends of mine are going to Paris in March, and my idea is to recommend your beautiful studios for them, they are 2 couples so it can fit perfect in your studios in St Severin.
I’m sending a copy of this email to Laura Escobedo, she and her husband will occupy one and her sister and husband the other one, I only wanted to introduce her so you can deal direct with her, you can be sure that they will take care of your studios very well.

I hope you both can get a deal and they can enjoy your studios as we did!

Brgds to you and Violaine
