Thank you so much for renting us the studio Marais, it was in a such a fantastic location and we had a great time! We actually spent New Year's Eve at the bar of Hotel Murano and later that night/morning, I proposed to my now fianc�e Cristina in the courtyard of the building! It was a very special night! If you are traveling during the spring and summer months, you can bring your own baguette, cheese and wine to picnic on the garden's table and bench!
The studio is furnished with a double-bed, cafe-style table and chairs, a functional bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, hot plates, coffee-maker and a fridge. Le Marais studio is on the 3rd floor, located on Blvd du Temple, next to famous hotel Murano averaging 700 Euros a night, (yes, we checked!) so you know you are in a good / safe neighborhood! You will be close to Musée Picasso, about 10 minutes walk to the River Seine and a short walk to Metro Republique (one of the biggest one in Paris)

You will be surrounded by fantastic shops (Blvd Sebastopol, Rue Etienne Marcel, Rue de Francs Bourgeois) Culture: Centre Pompidou, le Louvre, Musee Picasso... Great restaurants, bakeries, Parisian cafe and authentic food markets. You are next door to the famous Hotel Murano, located on 13, Blvd du Temple, which can be seen from your own windows! Hotel Murano is the hype hotel in Paris, with room priced over 2000 euros a night! packed with celebrities and le tout Paris; you know you are in a prime neighborhood!

This area fell out of royal favour when the King's court left for the Louvre then Versailles, and was in a state of almost abandon by 19th century. It became a largely Jewish quarter around then, and has remained so ever since. It is also the heart of gay Paris, with many gay caf�s, bars and clubs.
